Building the Tech Behind the Magic
Delivering Wisket’s promise required powerful technology. We needed a solution that could handle a range of retailers and ensure a seamless user experience. We implemented a robust web scraping solution to connect Wisket with as many retailers as possible. This technology automates the extraction of key product details — like price, size, and descriptions — and displays them within the app.
Retailer API Integration
We built direct API integrations for retailers where web scraping wasn’t feasible. These APIs allow users to search for products by SKU or ID, ensuring they can still access accurate and up-to-date information within the app. This approach expanded Wisket’s reach while maintaining reliability and functionality.
Safari Extension for Mobile Shoppers
Wisket’s Safari extension allows users to add items to their collections without leaving their browsers. Eliminating the need to copy and paste links or switch between apps enables a streamlined, effortless saving experience for on-the-go shoppers.
