TruMoo paved the way to making milk nutritious and delicious for children to enjoy and for parents to know that their children are getting the proper amount of calcium. Everyone wins. TruMoo is a well-known brand in everyone’s grocery store and every child’s favorite milk beverage. TruMoo can dominate within a retail scale but can they dominate in the new digital age? As TruMoo stays traditional within the dairy industry, they sought out help for their online presence.
We used a designer as developer to build the front-end to spec before collaborating with the development team to code additional interactions and integrate the 3rd party store finder. Using a platform that allowed our creative team to visually code the site themselves paved the way for a design-led website that is 100% flexible and can be rapidly built and updated.
Close collaboration between design and development ensured we were adhering to proper web standards and integrating custom code only when necessary.
A key feature of the third party platform used to build the site was a fully integrated content management system. It allowed for a streamlined website development by adopting a "content first" approach – bridging the gap between design, development and content creation. We worked closely with the client team to create a well-structured content strategy and design schema that could be easily updated by any novice user.
Our production location functionality was powered by Destini – a leading product locator solution featuring automated store-level data, powerful analytics, and customizable web, mobile and facebook applications. Our team collaborated with the Destini team on setting up the appropriate user flow, UI and integrations that would allow customers to find product availability and pricing easily.
Interactions and animations played a large role in bringing the client vision to life. While the brand was focused on content to deliver the TruMoo message, they wanted to find ways to elevate the user experience through subtle interactions that reinforced their updated brand.
